5 Habits of People with Amazing Skin!

We all want that gorgeous glow to our complexion, but how? Whilst a daily skincare routine is extremely important there are a few other things we should be doing.

HYDRATION! HYDRATION!

 Anyone with great skin is usually drinking 2 litres of water a day, AT LEAST! Water restores the skins natural radiance, helps to flush toxins from our body and nourishes our skin from within.

 SPF EVERY DAY!

Sunscreen should be a part of every skincare routine, don’t wait for those early ageing signs to start appearing, START NOW! Whether it’s a horrible overcast day or a glorious summer day, sunscreen needs to be applied every day before you walk out your front door!

REGULAR SKINCARE REGIME

 Your daily skincare regime should include, at the very least, a gentle cleanser, nourishing moisturiser and exfoliant (used twice a week). If you’re a little more adventurous try using serums and masks, your skin will love you for it!

CLEANSE BEFORE BED

I can’t stress enough how important cleansing is before bed! Your makeup carries free radicals collected throughout the day from the environment; even without wearing makeup your skin collects dirt and oils. This exposure can to wrinkles and fine lines and an increased risk in breakouts if not cleansed before bed.

 HEALTHY EATING HABITS

 You are what you eat! To achieve a healthy-looking complexion you need to properly nourish your body. Fruits and green leafy vegetables rich in Vitamin C should be a part of your daily skincare routine. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from harmful free radicals.

Vitamins A, E and K are also great for overall skin health.
